First Aid Training

The Health and Safety First Aid Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate provisions of first aid to employees within their organisation.

The results of your First Aid Risk Assessment will determine if you are required to have First Aiders, and to provide accredited First Aid at Work training to staff. From October 2013 the HSE will no longer accredit First Aid Training, and organisations who require it must ensure they provide OFQUAL accredited First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work training for those staff acting as First Aiders.
